4.  The Media

Media bias in the media must be one of the greatest challenges facing contemporary Christianity. The media’s powerful influence on society is the single greatest threat against Biblical values. Christians, above all others, should be acutely aware of the power of the written and spoken word.

The epicenter of anti-Semitism has moved. Jews have long been attacked because they are the archetypal “other.” For two thousand years, they were the most conspicuous non-Christian presence in Europe. Today, they are the most conspicuous non-Islamic presence in the Middle East.

6.  Abuse

Child abuse presents a terrifying picture. It denies the worth of the child. Rather than being a person created in God's image,  the child is made an object to be beaten, shouted at and used for the gratification of another.

Opponents of marijuana legalization hope this study review will put the brakes on burgeoning efforts to legalize the drug. 11. The History of anti-Semitism

The traditions and foundations laid by the Fathers of the Church continued into the Middle Ages and  modern times and created great intolerance and suspicion toward the Jews. The founders of the Church promulgated a number of doctrines to theologically invalidate the Jew’s continuing existence. These doctrines were given the greatest possible significance and divine authentication. ‘It was said to the Jew: You have no right to live among us’.

12. Many are dying so that others may live

Many brave healthcare workers who are working in Ebola affected areas will fall victim to the disease. They know that, and they show up to work anyway because they know human lives depend on them. And they are the best of humanity; most of us will never find out what it’s like to do something that noble.

13. Jerusalem in turmoil

Jerusalem was chosen specifically by God.  God told Moses that when they came into the land, He would appoint a certain place where He would "cause his name to dwell”. It is the only place in the world that God has chosen for Himself. From the Bible and archaeology we know that the Jews were there long before the Muslims, but that is denied by the Muslims.

16. Christianity

The Christian life of faith is only for those who are “in the faith”. Living “a good Christian life” is not the way to become a Christian. Only those who already are Christians can live that life. Nor is it lived in order to earn heaven, which is impossible, but out of gratitude to Christ for having paid the penalty for sin.

17. What about those ‘unbelievable stories’ in the Bible

The Bible is unarguably an incredible book. It is the best-selling, most quoted, most published, most circulated, most translated, most influential book in the history of mankind. But how can we know that the Bible isn’t just an ancient book of fiction, folklore, or cleverly devised tales invented by deceitful men? Haven’t the contents of the Bible been tampered with down through the centuries?

Still, there is a lot we can do to help, and even just reading this and learning about it is a big step. It sounds like a cliché, but awareness really does make a difference.

Halloween began over 2,000 years ago among the Celts and their pagan priests called the Druids. The Druids are, without question, history’s kings of the occult. Witchcraft, Satanism, paganism and virtually all facets of the occult acquire instruction from the Druids. Halloween owes its morbid birth to the Druids.
