2. Freemasons – Roots & Links to the Occult

On the surface, Freemasonry looks wholesome. There is fellowship, loyalty, and the support of good causes. But in reality, it is a lifelong succession of deceptions. Masons take blood oaths, and participate in rituals that they don’t fully understand. Masonry is a system that confuses, deceives and controls men. It is difficult for a man to turn away later from Free Masonry because of the many blood oaths, the time, effort and money he has invested and the fact that many of his friendships and business connections are with fellow Masons.

Free Masonry is a pagan religion – the worship of pagan gods. It is, however, seen to be the highest and purest form of religions. They meet in temples, there is “holy book”, they have prayers and they worship the Grand Architect of the Universe. > Read the full article

3. Easter versus Passover

Throughout Yeshua’s life He and his family celebrated Passover on the 14th of Nissan. He observed all the Levitical holy days on the days when YHVH decreed and designed them to be observed. The Apostles and the first-century Church celebrated Passover and all YHVH’s feast days. Paul continued to celebrate these feasts thirty years after the death of Yeshua. Toward the end of the second century, western churches, led by Gentile bishops, began to campaign for all the churches to keep Passover/Easter on their fixed Sunday. Churches who wanted to follow God’s Word were threatened with excommunication. Eventually, the churches were ordered by Constantine, who saw himself as the incarnate Sun god, under threat of death. > Read the full article

4. Internet and our Children

According to USA statistics, almost 93% 12-17 years olds are online, and most exhibit an exceptional level of digital proficiency. Many kids are pressured to post provocative images of themselves and blog about their personal experiences in a very public forum.

Using the Internet and other mobile devices, cyber bullies victimize their peers while remaining “virtually "anonymous”. Without the proper guidance few are thinking through the implications of their online actions. To make matters worse the victims are not protected by law.

5. Shocking Youth Message Stuns Hearers

So many adults and youths believe that they are Christians because there was a time when they came to salvation. They also feel reassured when they compare themselves with others instead of comparing themselves with Scripture. We all sin but the true believer will repent and turn back to God. The evidence that you are a born-again is that you will always want to do the will of the Father. Jesus said in Matthew 7 “… I will declare to them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness”. Today, many Christians live like those in the world and think it’s okay. The principal sign of being a redeemed Christian is to walk the narrow way. To walk the broad way means that you do not know God. > Please take time to read the full article.

6. Avatar

James Cameron, director of the very popular movie Avatar, includes a huge amount of spiritual deception in his story about the blue-skinned Na’vi of the planet Pandora. Movies often ‘teach ‘ theology. Through these pagan ideas the character of God is being distorted, and young people are being exposed to Eastern mysticism like Hinduism and sorcery. Avatar blatantly preaches shamanism. Avatar is not only a sermon on shamanism, but also on earth worship and spiritism. Many Christians attempt to read underlying Christian themes into popular movies that are totally antichrist in nature. > Read the full article.

7. Twilight

Twilight is a teenage phenomenon that has gained incredible momentum. It is a demonically inspired series of vampire romance, which has hoodwinked Christian youth, especially young girls and teenagers, by confusing God’s love with sensual, romantic lust and His Word with occult philosophy. Stephenie Meyers described how she received Twilight’s story in a dream. She also mentioned a conversation with a terrifying spirit being. Those who get involved in occult communication such as this may become spiritually addicted. It can also develop aggressively into a yearning to even sell their eternal souls for. By promoting and familiarizing its audience with magic, Wicca, supernatural powers and demon possession, Twilight opposes Scripture totally and completely.

8. What is wrong with Pornography?

Men who started with pornography as young boys often continue to be affected by the images that got them started. But the major danger is that the intensity of the material tends to escalate because after a while the mild material is no longer as stimulating. But we also need to think about the subjects of pornography. They are not simply those people who have made a career choice to enter the sex industry. The sad truth is that it is usually vulnerable young adolescents who have been tricked, seduced, coerced or bullied into a lifestyle of degradation that often ends in death, by suicide, drug overdose or murder. Pornography is not a victimless crime. The users and the subjects are both devastated and the societal cost is immense. > Read the full article.
