2. About Jesus

If a court of law were to evaluate the evidence for Jesus Christ, what would it conclude about his identity? Is it possible to discover the true historical Jesus? Many scholars have carefully studied the facts about this person who has so greatly influenced human history. The following articles reveal the truth regarding Jesus of Nazareth. Archaeologists, historians, textual scientists and New Testament scholars examine the wealth of evidence making him the most unique person in the history of our world. You will find answers to questions asked by sceptics about his existence, the credibility of his claims, his true identity, his fulfilment of prophecy, his resurrection, his relevance to our lives today, and the reliability of the New Testament gospels.

3. The Jesus Seminar

The Jesus Seminar is a group of New Testament scholars who have been meeting periodically since 1985. They initially focused on the sayings of Jesus within the four Gospels to determine the probability of His actually having said the things attributed to Him in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The public, exposed by the mass of publicity and attention given to the Jesus Seminar by the media has been inclined to assume that the theories of these scholars represent the "cutting edge," the mainstream of current New Testament thought. Nothing could be further from the truth.

4. One World Government - One World Financial System - One world Religion

The Apostle John wrote of a one-world economy in his letter to the seven churches in the book of Revelation. The one-world economy is one facet of the Antichrist's short-lived world dictatorship. According to President Jean-Claude Trichet, president of the European Central Bank, this particular facet is already in place. Prof. Robert Mundell stated in 2003 that "A global single currency could not be achieved without a global government." The icing on the cake is that the one-world religion is also moving full-steam ahead.

5. Media Control

It's a frightening thought: government takeover of the media. But having tightened their grip on health care, financial services, and energy, it's only logical that the Democrats should turn their attention to the media. Discussions underway at the Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Communications Commission point toward a dangerous new effort to regulate what Americans read and hear. The takeover under discussion would apply across the board to print media, radio and television, and the internet. The result of proposed regulations would be nothing less than an end to free speech in America.

6. A History of Hurt

In their book Why the Jews?, Dennis Prager and Rabbi Joseph Telushkin tell us, “Hatred of the Jew has been humanity’s greatest hatred. While hatred of other groups has always existed, no hatred has been as universal, as deep, as permanent.” Along with these authors, society must ask, “Why the Jews?” Why are they so hated? Why are they so hunted? What is the problem with this group that has generated so much anger and venom - even to the point of anti-Semitism taking on a largely “Christian” identity (i.e. Christian anti-Semitism)?

7. Substance Abuse

People abuse substances such as drugs, alcohol, and tobacco for varied and complicated reasons, but it is clear that our society pays a significant cost. The toll for this abuse can be seen in our hospitals and emergency departments through direct damage to health by substance abuse and its link to physical trauma. Jails and prisons tally daily the strong connection between crime and drug dependence and abuse. Although use of some drugs such as cocaine has declined, use of other drugs such as heroin and "club drugs" has increased.

8. Reincarnation

Today approximately 30 million Americans (one in four) believe in reincarnation. The word "reincarnation" literally means to "come again in the flesh." The process of reincarnation - continual rebirths in human bodies - allegedly continues until the soul has reached a state of perfection and merges back with its source (God or the "Universal Soul").
