2.  The United Nations and the New World Order

The idea is vigorously propagated that all planetary citizens should be viewed as members of one big family with the same basic needs and ideals of economic survival and peaceful coexistence. The United Nations sees itself as a unique forum with a good chance on success to realise these ideals. In terms of this approach, communities everywhere should be taught not to over-emphasise their national, geographic, cultural, economic and religious group interests but rather to promote the interests of a united world community. Structures should be created to expedite the process of globalisation, thereby giving expression to the ideology of monism: "We are one."

3. Islam

Bruce Bawer argues that while Europe is currently only about ten percent Islamic vs two percent for America - if present trends continue it will only take a generation or two for Muslims to become a majority. Well before 2050, most of Europe is likely to become an outpost of Islamdom governed by Sharia. Europe will be alien to Western culture and an enemy of Western civilization. According to Bawer, political correctness and multiculturalism are "a habit of thought that in America is an annoyance but in Europe is a veritable religion."

4. The heroism of ordinary people

The horrors of the Holocaust are so numerous, and so overwhelming, that the occasional heroic act often goes unnoticed or is forgotten. Researchers did not even begin to seriously study the many instances of rescue during the Holocaust until decades after the end of WWII. Still, it is imperative that the world recognize and remember the stories of those who helped save Nazi victims from persecution. The purpose of teaching students about those rescuers who saved thousands from Nazi genocide is to help students understand how the human values of kindness, dignity, and compassion stayed alive during the most trying of circumstances. The challenge facing a teacher is how to present these virtuous heroes as plausible and relevant models of moral activism. Students should observe these heroic people not as idealized superhuman figures, but as average decent human beings who expressed a normal response to tyranny. Teachers should help their students to see that each individual possesses the heart, power and strength to make a difference in the fight against hatred and oppression. This sentiment is reflected in the inscription on the medals awarded to Righteous Gentiles: "Whoever saves a single soul, it is as if he had saved the whole world."

5. Jesus and the Law

Perhaps the most widespread controversies about the teachings of Jesus concern His attitude toward the laws of God recorded in the Old Testament. The approach of most churches and denominations regarding Jesus is that He brought a new teaching differing considerably from the instructions of the Old Testament. The common view is that the teachings of Christ in the New Testament annulled and replaced the teachings of the Old Testament. But do they?

6. Kundalini

Today, with many Christian leaders endorsing things like yoga (Christian Yoga), Contemplative (centering) prayer, Christianized meditation, mantras and altered states of consciousness - all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, it is no wonder that mystical manifestations of occult power are being experienced in churches and in believers' lives. Entering Christendom en masse, across continental and denominational boudaries, is an ancient, baleful power that is ever-so-subtly influencing compromised Christendom.

7. Stem cell and human cloning research

The field of stem cell research offers great promise for the advancement of medical science. Adult stem cells are presently being used to treat a variety of illnesses. However, the isolation of human embyonic stem cells in 1998 and resultant research have raised moral concerns because current methods of procuring embryonic stem cells require the destruction of human life.

8. Israel’s legal existence

According to the Arab-Palestinian-Muslim narrative, Israel is an alien colony recently planted in the Arab world by American and European imperialism. This narrative recognizes no history prior to the arrival of the first Zionist pioneers in the 1880's and emphatically denies any ancient historical connection of the Jewish people to the land of Israel. This is the central lie, offered to justify uncompromising opposition to Jewish national rights.

9. What is Christmas all about?

Many Christians believe that the Christmas pageant sums up the concept of God and the coming of Christ - the Saviour of humankind. But how valid is this belief? Just take a copy of the Bible. Look for a mention of Santa Claus, holly wreaths, mistletoe and Christmas trees. None of these things are mentioned in the Bible...

10. Research

In a discovery with far-reaching implications for the developing world, Israeli researchers have created organic 'potato batteries' that can power lights, computers and more. Cheap, and widely available in most countries of the world all year round, potatoes make an ideal source of power. It's a development that could improve the quality of life some 1.8 billion people.

The Institute of International Finance, a group that represents 420 of the world's largest banks and finance houses, has issued yet another call for a one-world global currency. An IIF policy letter authored by Charles Dallara, the Institue of Internation Finance's managing director, made clear that global currency coordination was needed, in the group's view, to prevent a looming currency war.

Trance Dance is a unique blend of body movement, healing sounds, dynamic percussive rhythms, transformational breathing techniques and the innovative use of a blindfold or bandana - together stimulating a 'trance' state that promotes spiritual awakenings, mental clarity, physical stamina and emotional well-being. Ritual trance journeys have been a vital part of shamanic and eastern dance cultures for thousands of years.
