There has been an increase in extreme weather events around the world. Floods have followed abnormally heavy rains in England, France, Spain, Italy and Greece and enormous wildfires have ravaged large portions of northern California, New South Wales and Queensland.

Everywhere we turn, we hear warnings about serious threats to life on earth. With each report, extremists demand immediate, drastic government measures to slow down climate change before it is too late.

Global temperature changes from past millennia, according to available data, were often severe and rapid, long before man supposedly had any impact at all. That is, the current climate change is not as unusual as some alarmists would like to believe.

Global-warming diehards who converted their cause to “climate change” when the warming ceased a few years back are being dealt another blow as scientific forecasts of global cooling are about to take over.

The Mail on Sunday today reveals astonishing evidence that the organisation that is the world’s leading source of climate data rushed to publish a landmark paper that exaggerated global warming and was timed to influence the historic Paris Agreement on climate change.

Since the late 1980s, global warming has been hotly debated, with many arguing that Earth is undergoing potentially catastrophic man-made climate change. Is Earth getting warmer? Is such warming, if real, dangerous? And is it caused by human-produced carbon dioxide?

Here are the 100 reasons, released in a dossier issued by the European Foundation, why climate change is natural and not man-made.

Since the first Earth Day in 1970, and in the years following, there was a torrent of apocalyptic predictions. How accurate were those predictions around the time of the first Earth Day? Wrong, spectacularly wrong, and here are 18 examples:

Is it possible that these popes are proposing a world government with total control of currency, the food supply, military forces, private property and immigration, along with a court system to uphold its decrees? This plan disturbingly parallels the UN's Sustainable Development Goals enumerated in its Agenda 21 program, formulated at the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The John Birch Society describes Agenda 21 as a plan "for the global control and restriction over your daily life, including your private property, individual rights, and civil liberties — all in the apparent name of the environment and so-called social justice."

For more than two decades the world has been subjected to a growing cacophony of doomsayers — — demanding global action to stop anthropogenic (human-caused) global warming, or AGW.  However, contrary to the dire predictions of the alarmists, the Earth has not been heating up. In fact, for more than the past 18 years global mean temperatures have stayed steady, or have slightly cooled, according to the satellite readings.

So, a world-famous scientist, winner of the Nobel Prize in physics, delivers a scathing speech at an annual gathering of Nobel Laureates, during which he skewers President Obama (whom he previously endorsed and advised) for the president’s “ridiculous” claims that global warming is an existential threat. Did Dr. Ivar Giaever’s speech rate even a blip on the radar screen of the corporate Big Media?

Writing in his Real Science blog, Steven Goddard explained how he found out that NASA had altered U.S. temperature readings to show a warming trend where none existed: He compared graphs published on NASA’s website in 1999 to those available today. He even set up an animation of the two temperature graphs to show the extent of the fraud.

Dr. Arthur Robinson, a distinguished chemist and cofounder/president of the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine (OISM), was honored recently in Las Vegas at the Ninth International Conference on Climate Change (ICCC9) with the Voice of Reason Award presented by The Heartland Institute. Dr. Robinson, who also edits the highly informative Access to Energy newsletter and has written articles for this magazine — sat down at the conference for an impromptu interview with The New American. Donning the robes of High Priest of Science, Secretary of State John Kerry delivered a rousing sermon on March 12 that presumed to speak for both Science and Religion on the supposed existential threat of anthropogenic (manmade) global warming, AGW. Warning that we face “utter catastrophe” and the end of “life as we know it on Earth” if we “do nothing” to stop global warming, Kerry said failing to act “is beyond reckless. It is just plain immoral.”

Even in a federal bureaucracy infamous for squandering taxpayer dollars, the massive sums of public wealth burned up paying for and preparing for absurd “global-warming” scenarios still stick out. Now, the Defense Department is dealing with ridicule and strong criticism over an embarrassing “climate” report produced by consultants a decade ago that was wrong about literally everything. Lawmakers, too, are getting fed up with the “climate” antics, with the House voting to prohibit any more Pentagon spending on Obama’s increasingly outlandish global-warming alarmism

So-called global-warming alarmists are in a frenzy after the latest climate data confirmed the Earth actually appears to be entering a potential cooling trend, sea-ice cover in Antarctica is growing to record levels, tornadoes and hurricanes are at record lows, and more. According to experts, the most recent revelations continue to make a mockery of alarmist claims — debunking United Nations theories about human-caused global warming and the wildly inaccurate supposed “climate models” used to forecast doom and gloom by forces seeking carbon taxes and more centralized government.

All this talk about the sea rising is nothing but a colossal scare story, writes Christopher Booker. If one thing more than any other is used to justify proposals that the world must spend tens of trillions of dollars on combating global warming, it is the belief that we face a disastrous rise in sea levels. The Antarctic and Greenland ice caps will melt, we are told, warming oceans will expand, and the result will be catastrophe.

Much is being said about Global Warming, a threat to the survival of the earth and the human race. Is this based on fact or is it being used as a scare tactic to control people and nations?

In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill...
