Rather, it is existing spiritual leaders, in existing Christian churches, calling for a need to establish a “new” or more “modern approach” for the modern world that we live in. They say that modern man has outgrown the old established ideas of Christianity and there is a need to redefine Christianity in order to reach the 21st century, or post-modern man, and that the old ways and old church are no longer effective. We need a new kind of Christianity if we are going to make a difference in people’s lives and the world around us.
