The desire to “see” and “hear” is predicated on the heart’s sense of what is important and what is ignorable information. True Christians are guided by the Holy Spirit that inspires their hearts to feed on God’s truth. The fact is, they “see” and “hear” because they desire to “see” and “hear”. Mere “professing” Christians often do not have this deep desire.

Someone recently asked me a question that I have heard often concerning the signs of apostasy and the approaching Antichrist kingdom. She asked, “Why is it that I can see these things, but other Christians don’t seem to see them?” Christ provided an answer in Matthew’s gospel.
