The Emergent Church movement is a philosophical movement that contradicts Biblical truth, and has corrupted many minds, especially many young people today. Those in the movement believe that there is no absolute certainty when it comes to Biblical truth; therefore, there cannot be any real clarity, or absolutes that can be derived from it. It is a form of “Christianity” that holds to relative truth. It is spirituality that they believe that is “noble” and “humble” in this ideology It is a celebration of ignorance and mystery that downplays truth and the fundamentals of the genuine Christian faith.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. – John 1:1

It begs the question that if the Word of God is Jesus Christ, and the Emergent church says that we cannot know with certainty what the Word of God means, then how can you claim to know Jesus Christ if He is the Word?

Another Jesus

Through a postmodernist mindset, the Emergent church claims ignorance by denying the clear teachings of Scripture. There is an unwillingness to accept it for what they distinctly says, and believe that there is no liability in doing so. Ignorance is bliss. If you get down to the core of their deception, they do not like what Scripture says. They love darkness rather than light and run from it to embrace liberalism in the name of “Jesus Christ.”
